Our EMS clinicians are the backbone of our ambulance crews, but this job is never done alone. I also want to acknowledge the many members of our fire company who may not hold EMS certifications but step up time and time again to assist our crews on calls, support operations, and help ensure our patients receive the best care possible.
Every one of you answers a calling—not for recognition or praise, but because you genuinely care about helping others in their time of need.
The work we do often happens quietly, behind the scenes, and may never make headlines, but it has a lasting impact on the lives of the people we serve. Your dedication, professionalism, compassion, and willingness to serve do not go unnoticed by the officers, your fellow members, our partners at DES and local facilities, and most importantly, our community.
