Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association held its annual Fire Prevention Contest this afternoon. FVFAC is excited to announce that Firefighter Isabella Price and Evelyn Brush, the daughter of Lt. Will Brush, will continue their reign as 1st runner-up Miss Fire Prevention and Jr. Miss Fire Prevention for 2026.

Isabella's project focused on smoke and CO alarms, including those designed for the deaf and hard of hearing.

Evelyn's project focused on "Get Out, Stay Out!" Focusing on why it is important to get out of your house during a fire and why you should stay out.

Both of these ladies have excelled as Fire Prevention Ambassadors in 2025 and will get to continue their messages in 2026. Isabella and Evelyn made history in 2025 at FVFAC, being crowned 1st runner-up in their group, and have made a new mark in our history by advancing into 2026.
